Club Terms and Conditions

UGANDA GOLF CLUB RULES & REGULATIONS 2019

Definitions Club
Uganda Golf Club (UGC) as defined in Article 1 of the Club Constitution.

Club Constitution
Shall mean the Constitution of Uganda Golf Club adopted in 2019.

Rules and Regulations
Shall mean the rules introduced under Article 42 of the Club Constitution.

Member
A member of the Uganda Golf Club as defined in Article 1 of the Club Constitution.

Board of Trustees
As defined in Article 1 of the Club Constitution.

Management Committee
Also referred to as MANCOM as defined in Article 1 of the Club Constitution.

Club Professional
Also referred to as Club Pro is responsible for the administration of the game of golf at the Club

Guest
A member of a reciprocating Club visiting UGC or a person signed in by a member as his/her guest

Club House
Premises of the Uganda Golf Club located at Plot 30-32 Acacia Avenue.Yusuf Lule Road

Pro Shop
A shop selling golf merchandise and operated by the Club Professional

Halfway House
Facility located at tee box 10 where refreshments are served

Range
An area designated for golfers to practice.

Car Park
Shall mean car parking facilities at Uganda Golf Club.

Club Property
Shall mean all assets belonging to Uganda Golf Club including loaned or hired assets.


1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. 
All rules and regulations published prior to the date of this revised edition are repealed and replaced with the rules and regulations contained herein. The Management Committee under Article 42 of the Club Constitution may introduce further rules and regulations, from time to time. Notices posted in the Clubhouse, car park or on the Course to include emails and Whatsapp will bring such amendments/additions to the attention of the members.

1.2. Members and guests are required to comply with all published rules and regulations.


2. MEMBERSHIP


2.1. 
All matters relating to the categories of membership available within Uganda Golf Club are as stated in the Club Constitution.

2.2. 
The Management Committee, as laid down in the Club Constitution, will deal with any breach of the membership regulations.

2.3. 
Article 9 (4) (f) of the Club Constitution details the action to be taken by the Management Committee in the event of non-payment of a member’s dues, including the withdrawal of Club facilities to the indebted member. It is therefore the member’s responsibility to ascertain the state of his/her accounts, and the member must settle all debts and dues as they fall due. For the purposes of this Article, all members’ subscriptions are due at the beginning of each quarter, i.e. 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October. Members can however pay their subscriptions in advance.

2.4.
Any member who pays his/her dues by Cheque that is subsequently returned, or dishonoured for lack of funds will be subjected to a disciplinary action, as recommended by the Disciplinary Committee.


3. THE RULES OF GOLF.


3.1. 
Uganda Golf Club is affiliated to the Uganda Golf Union, and, through the Ladies Section, to the Uganda Ladies Golf Union.

3.2. 
The “Rules of Golf” as laid down, and amended from time to time by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and the United State Golf Association will apply at all times, whether or not playing in competition. Copies of the “Rules of Golf” can be obtained from the Club Manager.

3.3. The Competition Committee, acting under the authority of the Management Committee, will nominate a Disputes Panel of three persons, comprising two senior members of the Uganda Golf Club and a Golf Professional, for all Club sponsored competitions. Notice of the members of the Disputes panel will be posted on the Club Notice Boards.

3.4. 
Any competitor in these competitions who has a grievance on any matter relating to the “Rules of Golf” as played in the competition, must make a complaint to any nominated member of the Disputes panel immediately after he/she has completed his/her game.

3.4.1. Such complaint may be verbal or in writing. In the absence of a nominated member of the Disputes panel, the complaint may be made in writing to the Club Manager, Club Professional or any other member of the Management Committee present at the time.

3.4.2. Where the aggrieved competitor is not satisfied with the Disputes panel’s ruling, then he/she may make an appeal to the Uganda Golf Union or Uganda Ladies Golf Union, as applicable.

3.4.3 The aggrieved competitor may, through the appropriate Union, make a further appeal to the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. The subsequent ruling by that body will be final.

3.5. Members and guests are also required to comply with local rules as laid down, from time to time, by the Management Committee. These local rules will be displayed on the printed scorecards and/or the Club Notice Boards.

4. THE GOLF COURSE & ETIQUETTE

In addition to complying with the Rules of Golf and Local Rules, Members and Guests must comply with the following Rules and Regulations at all times whilst on the Golf Course.

4.1 Opening Hours
The Golf Course will be open daily for players to tee off between 7.00 hours to 17.30 hours’ local time, unless otherwise indicated by the Management Committee

4.2 Competition &Green Fees

4.2.1 Competition and/or Green Fees are to be paid by all players before accessing the Golf Course without exception.

4.2.2 The amount payable for Green Fees per round of golf will from time to time be determined by the Management Committee and will be displayed on all notice boards and at the reception desk.

4.2.3 Proof of payment of Green Fees/competition fees will be submitted to the security personnel or the starter (as the case may be) before teeing off.

4.3 Tee Time Bookings& Tee Offs

4.3.1 Tee Time Bookings

4.3.1.1 For non-competition days, players may tee off at any time provided they do not interfere with other playing groups.

4.3.1.2 On competition days, including Club Nights and Ladies Nights, players are required to book their tee times through the Club Web Portal or any other ways prescribed, from time to time, by the Management Committee.

4.3.2 Tee Off Time

4.3.2.1 It is the player’s responsibility to ascertain his/her tee off time as stated in a draw.

4.3.2.2 Unless clearly stated in a draw, all games must be started from the first tee.

4.3.2.3 Players commencing their game from the 10th tee in non-competition rounds are required to give way to players who are playing their second nine.

4.3.2.4 Club Night competition players starting on the 10th Tee when it is on their side have got right of way after 4 p.m.

4.3.3 Late Entries

4.3.3.1 Subject to availability of space, Members will be allowed late entry into the draw for any competition on payment of a late entry fee of an amount equivalent to the Green Fees for the day.

4.3.3.2 Late entries will require prior approval of the Competitions Secretary or the Club Professional, or any other designated person.

4.3.4 Cancellations

A player having entered his/her name for a competition and having a valid reason may withdraw from the competition provided that he/she notifies the Competitions Secretary or a designated person or the Club Professional, prior to the draw for the competition.

4.3.5 Non-appearance

4.3.5.1 Any Player who cannot make the tee time for any competition for which they have been drawn is to give a minimum of 10 minutes’ advance notice being given to the Competitions & Handicap Secretary or the designated Golf Administrator, or in their absence the Club Manager or Club Professional, in that order.

4.3.5.2 The above applies to all individual rounds in a multi-day tournament.

4.3.5.3 Non-appearance for a competition in which one has been drawn, without any notification, will attract a fine equivalent to the entry fees for the competition in addition to the Green Fees.

4.4 Number of Players per Group

4.4.1 Members and Guests are required to observe all notices posted by the Management Committee in the Clubhouse, Car Park, or on the Golf Course specifying the number of players per group which can play on the Course at any one time.

4.5 Pace of Play

4.5.1 Golf etiquette in respect of pace of play and as laid down in the R&A Rules of Golf or as per Local Rules MUST be observed at all times with no exception.

4.5.2 Slow players MUST GIVE WAY In the event that way is not given, the affected players shall inform the Club Professional and disciplinary measures will be instituted.

4.6 Prohibitions on Golfers Without Handicaps

4.6.1 Members, Junior Members and Guests without a [bonafide] handicap MUST in the first instance obtain clearance from the Club Professional before playing on the Course.

4.6.2 After receiving this clearance and until a bonafide handicap is awarded it will be NECESSARY for such players to play with a Member or Guest who has a bonafide handicap.

4.6.3 Members, Junior Members and Guests without bonafide handicaps are not permitted to play in competitions unless it is clearly stated in the entry book or on the Club Notice Boards and then only as MARKERS.

4.6.4 Lapse of handicap

4.6.4.1 Lapse of handicap for Members with bonafide handicaps will occur if the Member does not submit one card in a 4-month period. This will be subject to new provisions of the new World Handicapping System (WHS).

4.6.4.2 If a Member is absent for such a period of time then prior notice of his/her absence must be given to the Competitions or the Assistant Manager Administration & Personnel or the Club Manager, to prevent lapse of his/her handicap.

4.7 Score Cards

4.7.1 All Members and Guests accessing the Course for competitions & Club nights to play 9 or 18-hole rounds will be required to pick serialized score cards.

4.7.2 Any score card picked must be duly filled and handed in to the Club Professional.

4.7.3 Sanctions for not handing in cards during competitions & club night will attract disciplinary action which may include but not limited to:

i. suspension from play for a period to be determined by the competition committee.

ii. a fine equivalent to the Green Fees paid may also apply.

4.7.4 The Marker should ensure that the correct scores are recorded at all time during play. Failure of which will lead to DQ of both players.

4.8 Dangerous Play

4.8.1 All Members and Guests MUST take extra care to avoid dangerous play on the Course.

4.8.2 Players must wait for the group ahead, including their caddies, to clear the green completely before playing onto the green.

4.8.3 Players MUST call out “BALL” or “FORE” if they hit a ball that heads dangerously to any other person, player, worker, passerby on the Course.

4.9 Club Nights

4.9.1 Unless otherwise advised by the Management Committee, Club Night rounds commence at 4:00pm and Members must ensure that, by that time they are playing on the correct nine according to their bonafide handicaps.

4.9.2 In order to maintain play at a reasonable pace on Club Night, Members are required to play either two or three-balls.

4.9.3 The four ball groups playing 18 holes must tee off before 2pm so as to be well clear of No. 10 when the 2 and 3 ball commence play. Priority is to those who are playing on their right side.

4.10 The Competitions Secretary

The Competitions Secretary, together with members of the Competitions Committee, and with the assistance of the Club Professional will be responsible for the management of competitions.

4.11 The Club Professional

4.11.1 The Club Professional in collaboration with the Assistant Manager Course Operations will be in charge of administering the game of golf during competitions and will ensure that play is well marshaled

4.11.2 The Club Professional will have the powers to pull off the Course players who are un-necessarily slow and continue to be so after two consecutive warnings by the Marshalls

4.11.3 The Club Professional may also pull off the Course a player or group of players for other transgressions on the Course, such as willful damage to the Course, non-payment of Green Fees, etc.

4.12 The Starter

4.12.1 The Starter is the representative of the Competitions Sub Committee/Management Committee and as such, will be accorded respect by Members and Guests.

4.12.2 The Starter’s clock is always right and golfers will therefore abide by it.

4.12.3 The Starter may jack up players in a draw to fill positions of players who are either late, have withdrawn or have not showed up.

4.12.4 The Starter shall have the right to prevent a player who is inappropriately attired/dressed from teeing off.

4.13 Caddies

4.13.1 A caddies' Code of Conduct issued by the Management Committee binds all caddies operating at the Club irrespective of grade.

4.13.2 Members and their Guests must not induce their caddie to break the Code of Conduct for any reason whatsoever.

4.13.3 Furthermore, Members and their Guests should ensure that the caddies carry sand bags and assist in the repair of divots and pitch marks, as well raking bunkers.

4.13.4 Members and their Guests can only use caddies registered by the Club unless authorized by the Management Committee.

4.13.5 Members and their Guest must pay the caddies the prescribed fee in full at the end of their rounds and before using the locker rooms. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action to be prescribed by the disciplinary committee.

4.13.6 Members and their Guests are not permitted to purchase golf balls, golf tees or any other golf equipment from caddies or any other unauthorised person while on the Club premises.

4.13.7 Members/players should exercise common courtesy and respect to caddies at all times and refrain from using abusive language. If reported, disciplinary action will be taken.

4.13.8 Sanctions on caddies for non-compliance, suspension is prescribed for a period of time.

4.14 Mobile Communication Devices

4.14.1. The use of mobile phones on the Course are strictly prohibited as their use not only affect the pace of play, but is an inconvenience to other golfers.

4.14.2 The use of mobile phones without written approval of the Management Committee is strictly prohibited.

4.14.3. Elsewhere, Mobile Communication Devices shall be set on vibrate or low ring tones only and Members and Guests are asked to exercise courteousness while using mobile communication devices.

4.15 Golf Carts

4.15.1 Golf Carts may be used with the permission of the Management Committee, but in any case, not while playing in a competition, except in special circumstances where a member is nursing an injury or is carrying a permanent disability which cannot permit him/her to walk and keep up with the normal pace of play.

4.16 Closure of the Course

4.16.1 Members and their Guests cease to play in the event of the Course being closed for any reason by the Management Committee.

4.16.2 If players are playing out a hole at the time the Course is closed, then they will be permitted to finish that hole unless circumstances such as lightning in the area or flooding warrant immediate closure of the Course.

4.16.3 Communication of normal closure of the Course will be by way of three soundings of the Course siren.

4.16.4 Closure of the Course for emergencies such as lightning or flooding will be by way of six soundings of the Course siren.

4.16.5 Re-opening of the Course will be by way of four soundings of the Course siren.

4.17 Damage to the Course

4.17.1 Willful damage to the Course, greens, trees or plants is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

4.17.2 This includes the wearing of footwear that causes extensive damage to the Course

4.17.3 Littering of the Course is construed to be damaging the Course

4.17.4 Only Course maintenance vehicles are allowed on the Course at any time.

4.18 Dress Code on the Course – Prohibited Clothing for both men and women

• Denim Jeans or jeans of any other nature.
• Vests
• Sports/running shorts
• Slippers
• Steel spiked golf shoes
• Any form of dirty/filthy or torn attire
• Collarless t-shirts
• Tank tops

4.19 The Range

4.19.1 Training of golfers at the range will be under the guidance of the Club Professional and will ONLY be carried out by the retained Club Professionals and Trainers

4.19.2 The retained trainers MUST possess a golf trainers certificate

4.19.3 Where there are not enough certified trainers, the Club Professional may recruit some Professionals as interns, train and certify them as trainers

4.19.4 Amateur golfers and caddies are strictly prohibited from training golfers

4.19.5 There shall be a training curriculum for beginners developed by the Club Professional and approved by the Management Committee

4.20 Halfway House

4.20.1 Members and Guests are required to spend minimal time at the halfway house for refreshments, and in any case not more than 10 minutes.

4.20.2 Players taking refreshments at the halfway house may give way to the group players playing behind them, provided that the behind group of players do not want a break to take refreshments.

4.21 Alcohol on the Course

Consumption of alcoholic beverages while on the Course is prohibited unless authorized for specific occasions.

4.22 Non-Playing Guests & Children

A member may be accompanied on the golf Course by non-playing guests and children. However, the member and not the Club will be fully liable for any injury that his/her guests or children may incur. The Member will also be liable for any damage to the Course caused by his guests and children

4.23 Pets

Pets are not allowed on the Course without written approval of the Management Committee.


5. THE CLUBHOUSE

5.1 Opening Hours

The Club will be open for business from 7 a.m. up to 11pm every day as demand warrants, except weekends for which the closing hour will be 12.00 midnight. The Management Committee may on special occasions adjust the opening or closing time, but on a case by case basis.

5.2 Food Service Hours

Breakfast - 7:00 am to 11:00am

Lunch & Onwards - 12:30pm to 10:30 pm

5.3 Banquet Surcharge

The Club adds a 15% Banquet Surcharge to private parties. A private party is defined as an event that is not presented in the club’s calendar of events and is not open to the entire membership.

5.4 Parties/Catering/Special Events

Catering, special events and food and beverage hospitality services may be arranged directly through the Club Manager.

5.5 Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages

a) The serving of alcoholic beverages in the Club shall be in compliance with the rules and regulations of the appropriate authorities.

b) It is the policy of Uganda Golf Club that the responsibility for the conduct of each member, his or her family and guests, in relation to the consumption of alcoholic beverages on the Club premises, lies with the individual members; that responsibility is not and cannot be assumed by the Club.

c) The Management Committee has authorized the Club Manager to instruct each of the Club’s employees who serve alcoholic beverages, to refuse to serve them to any person who appears to have consumed alcohol to a point of intoxication. Any member who feels that he or she or his or her guest has been offended by a refusal of alcohol by an employee of the Club is asked not to take issue with the employee but to place his or her grievance before the Management Committee, through the office of the Club Manager, in writing. 

5.6 Food & Beverages

a) All foods and beverages consumed at the Club shall be purchased from the Club at the retail prices as established from time to time. Hence, only foods supplied by the Club kitchen may be consumed on the premises.

b) Members and the Guests are prohibited from bringing any foods and beverages into the Club House either for consumption or sale. The Management Committee may permit some special alcoholic beverages for consumption, but at a prescribed surcharge.

5.7 Restrictions on Minors and Children (Age Limit)

a) Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to access Club premises after 7:00pm.

b) Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to purchase or request to be purchased any tobacco product or alcohol.

c) A person under the age of 18 may not approach the bar areas unless he/she is in the company of a member over 18 years of age.

5.8 Club Property

Club property, including any property loaned or hired to the Club, must not be abused or tampered with in any way. In the event that one is apprehended, disciplinary action will be instituted.

5.9 Guest Policy

a) Members are allowed a maximum of three guests once a week on any day between noon and 8pm.

b) If a member, for a justifiable reason, desires to invite more than three guests at anytime, he/she will be required to inform the Management Committee through the Club Manager detailing the names of the guests, the date and time he/she will be hosting the guests.

c) All guests will be registered in the visitors’ book at the main reception together with the details of the hosting member.

d) Members’ guests will be expected to abide by these rules and regulations in their entirety and at all times that they are within Uganda Golf Club premises. Members will be FULLY responsible for the deeds/misdeeds of their guests without exception.

5.10 Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Clubhouse, including the Terrace, except in an area which has been designated as a smoking area.

5.11 Mobile Communication Devices

Mobile communication devices shall be set on vibrate or silent mode only while inside the Clubhouse Lounge.

5.12 Dress Code

5.12.1 Members and visitors entering the Club premises shall be expected to dress in a manner befitting the surroundings and atmosphere of UGC. Members are responsible for ensuring that their family members and guests are appropriately attired at all times.

5.12.2 Gentlemen will be required to wear tailored trousers or tailored shorts whilst in the lounge. Faded, torn or aged denim jeans are not permitted.

5.12.3. Only soft-spiked shoes are accepted anywhere within UGC Clubhouse premises.

5.12.4. Exceptions to the above dress regulations may be made for special events as approved by the Management Committee.

5.12.5 The following dress items are specifically PROHIBITED from the Clubhouse, namely:

• Sports Caps
• Vests
• Sports/running shorts
• Slippers
• Steel spiked golf shoes
• Any form of dirty/filthy or torn attire
• Soiled shoes of any form
• Collarless t-shirts
• Tank tops when worn on their own

5.13 Captain’s Chair & Captain’s Bell

Members are prohibited from sitting on the Captain’s Chair or ringing the Captain’s Bell, without authorization from the Captain

5.14 Storage of golf equipment

5.14.1 
Members are required to store their golf equipment in room/lockers/containers provided by the Club for the purpose. Any member who stores his/her equipment outside the designated areas does so at his/her own risk.

5.14.2 Where lockers are provided, players are supposed to fit all their golf equipment in them and will desist from leaving such items scattered around the locker room.

5.14.3 The Club will not be liable for lost or damaged property.

5.15 Main Car Parking

5.15.1 Members and Guests must park their vehicles in the main car park and in a considerate manner, so as not to cause an obstruction to other vehicles

5.15.2 Members and Guests must comply with reasonable requests from Club employees and remove their vehicles to a more suitable parking space

5.15.3 Members and Guests are not permitted to park in the spaces reserved for members of the Management Committee and members of the Board of Trustees. After 7 p.m. reserved spaces shall be open to members.

5.15.4 For security purposes, valid permits or car stickers must be clearly exhibited on members’ vehicles. The permits or car stickers shall be issued by the Club at a fee, to be determined from time to time, by the Management Committee

5.15.5 Whereas the Club will try to provide some security at the Car Park, all vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk.

5.16 Pets

Pets are strictly prohibited anywhere in the Club House except on the Course.

5.17 Members’ Property

Uganda Golf Club assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage of Member/Guest property.

Damage from golf balls to 3rd parties are covered by the Club insurance.

5.18 Gambling

Gambling, in any form is strictly prohibited in the Clubhouse and surrounding areas. However, wagers are allowed as defined by members.


6. GENERAL

6.1 Staff Harassment.

6.1.1 Any comment and/ or conduct which is intimidating, humiliating, malicious, degrading, or otherwise offensive as is known, or ought to be known, to be unwelcome to staff done by a Member is considered harassment. Harassment in any form whether to members or staff is strictly prohibited.

6.1.2 Harassment is a form of discrimination under Human Rights Legislation.

6.1.3 Uganda Golf Club is committed to ensure that its employees have a working environment that is free from harassment, thereby recognizing their dignity and worth.

6.1.4 UGC will not tolerate harassment of its employees by members or employees.

6.1.5 UGC considers harassment any form of comment and/or misconduct which seriously undermines the integrity and morale of the employment relationship.

6.1.6 UGC will take every measure which it considers reasonable to ensure that none of its employees are subject to any form of harassment.

6.1.7 Our staff has been instructed to address members by their surnames at all times and the co-operation of members is requested in discouraging familiarity on part of the staff.

6.1.8 Please consult on wording for sexual harassment

6.2 Language

It is strictly prohibited, at all times and circumstances, for members and guests to use vulgar language or to insult any member, guest, staff, caddie, member of the Management Committee or Board of Trustees

6.3 Theft by Member or Guest

Members shall take responsibility for actions of their guests. In the event of theft of any member’s property/Club property (by a member or guest), will result in the immediate suspension of the member, and will be reported to the Authorities for prosecution

6.4 Fighting

Assaulting or fighting anywhere in the Club is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate suspension or expulsion. Assault cases will be reported to authorities for prosecution

6.5 Firearms & Bulk Money/Valuables

6.5.1 Provision to be made for members who may need to have their body guards on the Course.

6.5.2 Fire arms are strictly prohibited into the Clubhouse and on the golf Course and will be declared and left with the Security Guards at the reception or any other suitable place that the Club may determine from time to time.

6.5.3 Members are advised to take care of their money and other valuables at any time while at the Club premises and the Club will not take liability for the loss of money or other valuables

6.6 Cleanliness & Hygiene

6.6.1 Members and Guests are expected to observe and exhibit the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene while using Club facilities, including but not limited to the gym, locker rooms, toilets and bathrooms

6.6.2 Littering anywhere in the Club premises, including the Course is strictly prohibited.

6.7 Pro Shop

The Pro-Shop is under the Management of the Club Professional who is expected to maintain high standards, expected of Pro-Shops

6.8 Credit

The Club will not give any credit to members or guests

6.9 Cliques

Members may socialize and mix freely with each other. Formation of cliques for the purpose of self-gain of members of such cliques is prohibited.

6.10 Complaints & Reporting

6.10.1 All complaints regarding the Club and its operations should be made in writing to the Club Manager.

6.10.2 Any suggestions or comments will be gratefully received and considered by the Management Committee.

6.10.3 For the benefit of all members, violations and abuses of Club rules and regulations should be reported to the Club Manager for action by the Management Committee when necessary.

6.11. Disciplinary Proceedings

6.11.1 The Disciplinary Committee acting under the authority of the Management Committee, will deal with any breach of the above rules and regulations

6.11.2 The Captain is empowered to effect immediate disciplinary action, including suspension of membership for a period of up to 4 (four) weeks

6.11.3 The Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee will notify such action to the respective member(s), in writing.

6.11.4 Details of the suspensions incurred by members will be posted on Club Notice Boards and will be circulated to all reciprocating Clubs

6.11.5 The Management Committee will deal with breaches warranting more serious disciplinary action, warranting longer suspension periods or expulsion, following due investigations and recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee

6.11.6 A member who is not satisfied with the decision of the Disciplinary Committee and or the Management Committee may appeal to the Appeals Committee of the Club.

6.12. Access to Constitution and Rules & Regulations Copies of the Bylaws are available from the office upon request.


7. PENALTIES FOR BREACH OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The Club through the Management Committee shall impose any of the following penalties, depending on what it considers to be the gravity or repetition of the offence:

(a) Caution;
(b) Written reprimand;
(c) Fine;
(d) Suspension for a stated period;
(e) Withdrawal of a handicap from a defaulting member.
(f) Expulsion or;
(g) Any other penalty deemed appropriate imposed or recommended by the Management Committee.

2. The Management Committee shall display on the notice board and inform all affiliated clubs, the names and reasons for the action taken against the member.

3. Any aggrieved member shall have a right of appeal to the Appeals Committee within fifteen (15) days from the receipt of the notification of any such disciplinary action by the Management Committee. An aggrieved member who is not satisfied by the decision of the Appeals Committee may apply for the review of the decision by a General Meeting.

4. The Club Secretary shall keep into custody all the records of disciplinary actions and names of members upon whom any penalty and its nature were imposed.

5. The book of penalty records shall be confidential but may be inspected by any Trustees or member of the Management Committee who have the right disclose such information to any interested member or purposes of disciplinary proceedings.
